The Flowstate Aim Trainer has various practical training scenarios like Shooting Valk’s Ult or Shooting From Lift (Horizon’s tactical ability) that allows you to practice those specific vertical movements that you will encounter in a game. It even includes grenade and arc star practice scenarios to perfect your vertical grenade throws.

While nobody has been banned from using R5Reloaded, we suggest using a dummy account just in case. R5Reloaded is not technically illegal, and EA has not made any statements against the use of R5Reloaded.
We are not responsible if you encounter any issues. Please do not try to modify any R5Reloaded files or bypass anything, and be sure to read the rules on the R5Reloaded Discord to avoid getting into any trouble.
Installing the Origin Launcher
R5Reloaded will not work on Steam, so we suggest you to use the EA App or Origin Launcher and log in with your dummy account once it is installed. Download Origin or the EA app, and sign in with your account, if you haven’t already.
You must have Apex Legends in your account, but you do not need to have it installed into your PC.
How to Install R5Reloaded
R5Reloaded can be quite confusing to install. The official R5Reloaded Discord has a guide, but it takes you through multiple channels. This article aims to make it as simple as possible, going through the process step-by-step.
R5Reloaded Download
You can download R5Reloaded directly (rar file). However, the direct download may take a while. We suggest you to use the torrent instead. If you do not have a torrent client to download these links, see our introduction to torrents to get up to speed.
To download the torrent, copy the torrent magnet link from the R5Reloaded Torrent Magnet Link Pastebin page and paste it into the magnet addition part of your torrent client of choice. In most torrent clients, you can add magnet links through the chain icon beside the plus icon.
Pasting the torrent into your browser will also prompt you to open the torrent client you have currently installed. This may not work on some browsers though.
Make sure that you have at least 44GB of space free on your drive, as this is a pretty big download. What you’re downloading is practically the season 3 build of Apex Legends. Check out how to delete temporary files on your PC to free up space without deleting anything you don’t want to.
Downloading and Installing the SDK
Once the download is finished, don’t click on the r5apex.exe yet. You still have to download and install the SDK in order for it to work properly.
Head to the r5sdk GitHub page and download just the depot. zip file from the latest release. Open it up and paste it over to the \R5pc_r5launch_N1094_CL456479_2019_10_30_05_20_PM folder. Be careful not to drag the files into any of the folders within the folder mentioned. If you’re going to drag the files, make sure to drag them into the empty space below any of the files in the folder. This is what the files should look like after the SDK.
After doing this, R5Reloaded is ready to launch. You can play R5Reloaded as it is, but we’re here for the Flowstate Aim Trainer..
How to Install the Flowstate Aim Trainer
After you’ve installed R5Reloaded, you’re now ready to download the Flowstate Aim Trainer files.
Downloading the Aim Trainer Files and Transferring Files
Head to the r5_flowstate GitHub page. On the right side, you will see Releases. We will use the latest release; at the time of writing this is Release2. Download two files: the one indicated on the description linking to download the flowstate scripts (r5_flowstate-r5_flowstate. zip), and the Flowstate. -. Required. Files. zip. Head to \R5pc_r5launch_N1094_CL456479_2019_10_30_05_20_PM > \platform > \scripts Open the r5_flowstate-r5_flowstate. zip and open the folder within it, delete all the files inside the \scripts folder, and replace it with the contents of the r5_flowstate-r5_flowstate folder. Go back up one folder into the \platform folder. Open up the Flowstate. -. Required. Files. zip. Open the platform folder inside the zip and paste the two files into the previously opened \platform folder. Allow your computer to replace the files. Go back to the main folder (\R5pc_r5launch_N1094_CL456479_2019_10_30_05_20_PM) and open \paks > \Win64 Inside the Flowstate. -. Required. Files. zip, open paks > Win64, and transfer the aimtrainer. rpak file into the \Win64 folder You can now head to the main folder and launch r5apex. exe to use the Flowstate Aim Trainer.
How to Play the Flowstate Aim Trainer
You may have replaced the original R5Reloaded files, but you will still be able to play the regular R5Reloaded and load into a solo server. To play the Flowstate Aim Trainer you’ll have to follow these steps.
Open r5apex. exe from the installation folder. It might trigger your anti-malware software, but just click on Run. Once you’re in the main menu, click on Create Server in the upper part. Click on Select Playlist and choose Flowstate Aim Trainer. Click on Start Game right above the image of the map in the bottom-left. You can now choose any training scenario you’d like to practice.
How to Transfer Your Apex Legends Settings to R5Reloaded
You may have noticed that the controls are set to default, and you’ll have to redo all the settings. This may be too tiresome for many as we all have different control schemes. Thankfully they’re saved in the same place, just in different folders, so they’re not that far apart.
Go to C:\Users\USER\Saved Games\Respawn\Apex\local Copy settings. cfg and videoconfig. txt Paste it into C:\Users\USER\Saved Games\Respawn\Apex_fnf\local
Some video settings may not have set themselves correctly. I still experience this myself and have to set the game to full screen every time.
